About Me
My story is not unlike a lot of peoples. I had big dreams from a young age of being successful, a millionaire, a famous singer, being in an amazing relationship, and having the perfect family. Did that happen in my 20’s or 30’s? …. errr well not really aside from my beautiful son….. but I have definitely learned and grown through my experiences to bring me to where I am right now.
I did well in school, did OK in 6th form, went to Uni, met a guy near graduating and joined a pop/rock band, had a baby, split from the guy, tried to be in a band and be a single mum, quit the band and settled into corporate sales. Oh yeah, and never got over the guy I met aged 20 who seemingly couldn’t love me back, but whom I allowed to shadow every relationship I had for more years then I care to remember.
Meandering through the years and my body clock ticking, I settled into a relationship with a good man, whom I married and then later divorced.
So!…. I was the Queen of unhappily settling.
I settled for a Uni course that I shouldn’t have enrolled on to please the boyfriend at the time, then I settled into a sales job because I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do as a career. I met a guy near graduation who was great but which I allowed to stop me from travelling and we went onto have a baby but the relationship didn’t last.
I became a single mother which was never on my agenda, and that led to life being a little harder and me feeling like I had to give up on my dream of being a singer. I then met a guy from school who later became my husband, a good man but in truth because I couldn’t have the man I thought I loved, and settled for a career that paid pretty well but didn’t light me up in any way shape or form.
Does any of this resonate for you?
All of this settling eventually took its toll, and in 2013 I decided I needed to take back my life. I ended my marriage, and eventually got back into personal growth and my entrepreneurial ways.
Fast forward to today and I am mum to an amazing young man, working as a Soul Purpose Coach and passionate about helping people realise that there is more to life than what they have settled for.
We all put so many objections in our own way and ultimately it is YOU who stop's yourself living the best most fulfilling life YOU deserve.
Life really is there for the taking, and though sometimes it's not easy, it is destined to be happier and contented with fulfilment.
Tony Robbins loves to say ‘If you’re not giving you’re not living’. It’s taken me many years to put those pieces together, and I'm so glad I did.
